The Winter Spiral is an annual festival at the Mary Francis Bachmann. Students and their families are invited to come together and walk the spiral. Entering in darkness the students light their candle in the center of the spiral. On their return they place their lit candle along the way lighting the way for others making the journey.
This annual festival, held during some of the darkest nights, reminds us of the power of our inner light and our ability to share that with others. Together we are able to bring light to darkness and make our journeys forward brighter.
After the festival, our family and community gathered in the warmth inside to enjoy some cookies and hot chocolate together.
